Synergy

Tesla’s Model X and Model 3 are from the firm’s core business. Nonetheless, Model 3 was more successful than Model X., given that Model 3 is more recent, launched in 2016, and was more profitable than its predecessor (Lambert, 2019). Model 3 compensated for the losses incurred by Model X. Since Model 3 was successful, as demonstrated by the high sales in the market, the success was translated into Model X. This success was because Tesla applied the Model Model 3 and restructured Model X. The new Model X appears more promising than the previous Model (Car and Driver, 2019). There are high prospects that the new Model X will top the sales in Tesla’s chart. Model X was not as successful as expected and did not hit Tesla’s sales target. It was an upgrade of Model S and was expected to make more sales than its predecessor. Unfortunately, Model X performed worse than Model S and exhibited lower sales. Model 3 resulted in high sales topping the charts and even made more sales than Lexus. Thus the success of Model 3 was translated into the floppy Model X.
