My Daily Routine at a Deserted Island
I wake up early in the morning before the sun rises. The desert is excellent, and the air is fresh. I take a deep breath and feel grateful for another day. I wash my face in the water from the stream and brush my teeth with a twig. Then I put on my clothes and start my day. At exactly 8:00 am, I warmed my body with stretching and yoga. After that, I go for a run around the island. It’s about a mile and a half, so it takes me about 20 minutes. When the sun gets too hot, I return to my little hut and eat a healthy breakfast.
I usually eat something light, like fruits and vegetables. In addition, I spend some time reading or exploring the island in the afternoon using a map. Also, the dunes are constantly changing, so there’s always something new to see. Around sunset, I cook dinner for myself over the fire. I usually catch fish from the stream or gather coconuts from the trees. Then, I sit down and enjoy my meal while watching the stars come out.
Notably, there’s no need for alarm clocks because the sun wakes me every morning. I don’t have to commute to work, so I can use that time to do other things I enjoy (Zerubavel). In addition, there’s no need for electric lights at night, because the stars provide all the light I need. The meals I eat are also different. I must catch my food on a deserted island and cook it over the fire. Even with all these changes, I still feel like myself. Finally, I do not have to worry about what I will wear daily because I only have one outfit. Although my daily routine is different on a deserted island, I still live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
