  • Works with academic support units to develop and assess special education services and/or outcomes

The individual you choose to interview must be an assessment professional who: deals directly implements valid research-based assessment measures to facilitate and assess learning as well as behavioral interventions for individuals with disabilities and/or assess and evaluate special education research using methods of best practice. The individual must determine if research variables are operationally defined and if research instruments are reliable and valid.

The individual you choose to interview could have several different professional titles
[special education coordinator, testing coordinator, assessment coordinator, etc.]; however, you should not interview a guidance counselor for this assignment, even though some guidance counselors perform many assessment tasks.
