This marketing strategy makes Apple attractive to a cohort of the audience who want to experience the premium lifestyle.
Additionally, Apple’s aggressive innovation strategy has enabled the company to gain a competitive edge, especially in the consumer electronics industry. The system helps the company gather crucial consumer feedback to improve customers’ future experiences. Such opinions are collected through questionnaire prompts and overall internet research. Given the company’s strong brand, it is usually talked about on social media platforms, and the company may leverage such information to improve its products.
Furthermore, the company has the opportunity to significantly increase its market share and sales by manufacturing budget phones. Currently, the company solely focuses on high-end consumers, especially in the smartphone segment. Apple’s competitors, like Samsung, manufacture and distribute high-end and entry smartphones, significantly boosting their sales, especially in the developing world where most people demand budget smartphones (David et al., 2023). However, it is worth noting that Apple should create a distinction between the two markets as it implements this strategy so that it does not lose its quality reputation. Another crucial insight from the SWOT analysis that may be used to improve Apple Inc. is the opportunity to expand its distribution network.
