What Motivates You?

I have a few things that are motivating me to go to college. Number one would be wanting to help save someone one day, so I chose nursing school and eventually wanted to be an ER (Emergency Room) nurse. The other thing that motivates me is my family. I am the first one in my family to attend college. Taking with my family, most of them wish they had a chance at a college education. This motivates me because I feel like I am given an opportunity that my family did not have, and I do not want to waste it.

Understanding your motivation for college is important because it keeps you going at the end of the day. College is hard. I admit that I have thought about not continuing after staring down the assignments I have to do. I kept going because I got a chance that my family did not get, and I did not want to waste it, and I could save a life one day with what I learned. It is worth it in the end.

Motivation helps me get up in the morning. It helps me stay positive because negative energy will only hurt me. It helps me keep a good understanding of what is to come. I am motivated to be the best in all aspects of school.

I do not think I have used any student resources besides the library. I am not going to lie. After trying to use the library for the first time, I was so frustrated because I could not figure out how to use it; it all worked out in the end because I took the time to figure it out because it was worth the point on the assignment, and I would benefit from learning how to effectively use it.
