It also constitutes a large number of devoted shops serving beverages wholly or partly. Coffee is currently among the most prevalent beverages, with 3 billion cups being taken every day (Giuli, 2021). All types of beverage businesses have been taking their sales to the next level, with consumers purchasing brain-improving energy drinks, zero-alcohol beverage preferences, and molecular cocktail creations. The intake of sweetened coffee, energy drinks, and sports drinks has been highly increasing (Shih, 2019). The coffee industry is no exception as far as increasing sales is concerned, and as such, a few trends have been coming up. People are beginning to embrace the coffee trends, including unique healthy coffee blends, bottled and canned coffee, and buttered coffee.

Unique Healthy Coffee Blends

Unique healthy coffee blends are currently a style. Typically, proprietary coffee blends are becoming extremely prevalent. The full-service restaurants and coffee shops are increasingly offering blends for the purposes of supporting good health and minimizing fat with collagen and soy creamers. Some blends such as matcha lattes and mushroom coffee have become common. A high number of devoted coffee shops tend to sell blends that enhance gut health, support the immune system, and improve metabolism (Ross, 2020). Coffee has received special consideration due to its positive impacts on various chronic ailments, particularly type 2 diabetes mellitus (Reis et al., 2019). With people consuming a lot of healthy coffee blends and also balancing their busy schedules, canned and bottled coffee is the new norm.

Bottled and Canned Coffee

More than ever, bottled and canned coffee are becoming very popular. In a society where people are always busy, this tends to be indispensable. Adding the self-contained option to an inventory with no extra setup charges is easy. Significant changes have been witnessed in the last two decades, in terms of the coffee beverages consumed and the places of consumption (Morris, 2013). Coffee is being added in convenience stores, gas stations, vending machines, and any other business that young individuals frequent. This has made it easy for people to access all types of coffees, including the buttered ones.

Buttered Coffee

Buttered coffee is currently a widespread trend, particularly for individuals who do not consume breakfast. Typically, buttered coffee tends to be improved with a tablespoon of butter. It strengthens the impact of coffee and also makes it more nourishing. Since it is prevalent amongst professional athletes and celebrities, the trend has been highly spreading and getting a wide following. Additionally, it is an easy improvement facilitating the sellers to increase the cost of coffee.
