I am currently the packaging coordinator. Usually, we train employees new to the distribution of packaging products. I think the best theory for my role is the path-goal theory.
Consider working with a combination of supportive and directional guidance. This is because I offer support, although I am interested in letting them know the impact of their actions on others. Since I am new in the department, I help them write a procedure and give followers expectations that should be acceptable throughout the shift. Untrained people usually train and support until they catch up with the process. After they have been promoted to leader, one needs to reevaluate their followers and situation. The normative decision theory is the best theory to support this transition. You may need to ask your subscribers about a particular topic, or you may need to decide for yourself.
