Therefore, they become more victimized, which pushes them beyond control. People in this state fail to think straightforwardly, making them opt for shortcuts. To avoid failure due to reactiveness, an individual should change into proactive and realize the responsibility, which can guide them to respond to a given situation positively.

Lastly, Covey’s view that people should change their perceptions to transform their situations is accurate. The seven habits form the background of all strategies vital for success as they increase an individual’s ability to achieve pro-activeness. As the author advocates, self-renewal is essential for empowering people to move upward regarding growth.
