The use of big data analytics in the system implies that the system can capture, process, and analyze big data, hence enhancing effective decision-making for better patient care. The engagement of the nurse informaticists from the conception to the development phase ensures that challenges in the health care system are solved and the system helps the nursing staff in delivering quality care. Thus, the adoption of an integrated nursing informatics system holds great potential for altering care delivery practices and outcomes by minimizing medical mistakes, increasing the efficiency of services, and optimizing patients’ care.
