Good coordination among clinicians and other stakeholders is critical for blood supply management (Pandey et al., 2021). The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) is a result of the collaboration of hospitals. However, the CBCC faces various challenges and opportunities to meet the ever-growing demand for blood transfusion.

SWOT Analysis of CBCC

Strengths

  • As the CBCC results from collaborating hospitals, it is easy to network and outsource blood donors.

In conclusion, although the CNCC has been able to meet some of the community’s blood needs, there is a need for strategic management of the healthcare organization to meet its goals sustainably.
