What are some of the challenges of dealing with homework from the teachers’ perspective?
From the tutors’ perspective, there are numerous challenges in dealing with homework. First, holding learners accountable for not completing homework tasks is sometimes challenging. Secondly, it is hard for children to pace themselves to meet homework deadlines without proper supervision by parents or guardians. It also has to handle homework distractions. Finally, coping with negative mood swings and emotions encountered while doing homework is challenging.

I believe homework should be given to students because it aids in reinforcing classroom learning while developing good study life skills and habits. This is because learners ordinarily retain just half the information tutors give in class, and they can apply the information through homework to learn it appropriately. Homework should count for ten per cent of the final results so that learners can take it seriously. In addition, homework should be checked after lesson time so that the teacher has ample time to give reinforcement and acknowledge the learners with completed homework. For every incomplete homework, students lose two points.
