However, the option also has its disadvantages. The first disadvantage is that there is a decrease in the flexibility for the patients to easily select among the enormous abundance of drugs and surgical procedures offered in the field by high-ranked hospitals and doctors. Secondly, patient confidentiality is likely to be diluted by the information from the centralized government since it is the one in control. Lastly, fewer prospective doctors might choose to go into the medical profession as a result of declined chances for extremely remunerated positions. The five strategies that would be used to advocate for a legislative change in the state to influence insurance coverage for this treatment include aligning care provision and the public, centring the whole person in the structure design, developing systems for care coordination and management of the system, incorporating social health and behavioural health factors into the equation and working toward collective leadership (Tuohy, 2018).
