It is normal for babies to experience things and experiences that stimulate their brains since these shape the manner in which they see and respond to various perspectives of the world. Additionally, when the toddler’s world develops, they tend to learn, and hence, there may be changes in their behaviour. From this -perspective, the baby is able to distinguish between one individual from another since the child primarily learns from the primary cares about the world (Berk et al.,2022). Additionally, they also learn how to respond to various aspects that are presented to them. Therefore, the infant behaviour that I will look for to distinguish between secure, insecure-avoidant, insecure-resistant, and insecure disorganized attachment would vary.

Ideally, in a secure attachment, the child would portray all the signs of being happy and content with the way that they are living and being provided for. In an insecure attachment, the child will portray some form of fear, disappointment and avoidance to confront reality. In an insecure-resistant case, the infant will portray some form of resistance at an early age based on the fact that they are not comfortable with what is going on. As such, it is important to recognize that there are some caregiving theories that might pose a threat to attachment theory, and they include communication, bonding, play and providing time for the infant (Goodway et al., 2019). Ideally, infants tend to be inclined to a friendly form of parenting since this fosters the development of a secure attachment.

Parenting plays a significant part in creating a sense of self-concept, self-esteem, emotional understanding, emotional self-regulation, self-conscious emotions, as well as empathy and sympathy. Parent primarily acts as a pillar to their children as well as their anchor, and hence, they play a significant role in the physical, emotional and social growth of their children.
