The Covid-19 pandemic disrupted business operations. Many organizations and businesses embraced various changes to enhance sustainability and reduce losses. Samsung Inc. is among the companies that have changed their operations strategy to adjust to changes in the business environment. According to Ji-hyoung (2022), the company opened remote offices to promote hybrid working. The stakeholders involved in the change were the company executives and employees. The executives and staff in the company were required to prioritize diversity and flexibility in the workplace to implement the “Work from Anywhere” policy to address talent shortage and external uncertainties (Ji-young, 2022). The executives provided the resources required to set up the shared working spaces. Employees were involved in implementing the change by using the working spaces in a pilot run to determine whether the change would be effective.

The main concern that the executives might have about the change is its high cost. The change requires additional resources, such as working spaces and office equipment, which could increase the company’s operating costs. Communication is needed to address these concerns by explaining the benefits of working from working spaces, such as employee work discipline and the ease of monitoring their progress in completing assigned tasks. The main concern that employees may have is collaboration difficulties because they may be required to collaborate with colleagues in different workspaces. According to Clark (2022), remote working makes it hard for employees to maintain constant communication and collaborate in completing shared tasks. Therefore, there is a need to communicate to employees how the proper flow of information across remote offices will be maintained.
