Lastly, nurse leaders must try to ensure that the healthcare facility hires enough nurses for a shift by making a presentation to upper management showing improved productivity with an increased number of nurses hired on each shift. Maintaining dialogue with the team helps address nurses’ concerns regarding staffing and makes them feel they are being backed up. These educational strategies assist the nurse leaders in enhancing the legal standards across the care setting and providing the patients with quality care, besides enhancing staff satisfaction.
