Role of Educators in Influencing The Topic of Diversity in Education
I fully believe in incorporating and educating the world of education by hosting professional development seminars. Professional development seminars would be ideal for educators to attend and host. Warren, Pacino, Foy, & Bond (2011) explain that once educators know students’ diverse backgrounds, they learn about their students’ communities and diversities. This is true for the entire world of education. Stakeholders in education include the community as a whole; therefore, these events should be open to the public. Community members should be incentivised to attend professional development, and professional development should be hosted in a sense that speaks to every type of person within the community.
