Prototyping
The purpose of a prototype is to develop a new service or product to help solve a problem that is tested to conclude it can resolve the issue you are trying to fix (ID Blogger, 2019). Through the prototyping process, identifying risks in the early stages of design help to avoid costly drawbacks when the product or service is introduced to consumers. Organizations can detect errors quicker using available feedback through trial processes and create better solutions that benefit the service or product being developed. Product failure is temporary, and creating prototypes supports persistence in the development process (Dimitriadis, 2014). I am a huge fan of JellyBelly jelly beans. When I visit my family in California, one of our stops is the factory in Fairfield. Their flavors are created using test batches that combine the right balance of ingredients developed in chemistry laboratories (Homes, n.d.). Without creating these prototypes, or test batches, which I am certain have had many failures; JellyBelly would not be successful in the industry.
