Practicum Experience Plan

My dream of working in a healthcare environment is based in various areas, ranging from being a nurse practitioner clinical nurse as well as being a nurse anaesthetist. Gaining application-level experience in these areas will help me play a pivotal role in the future of healthcare (Skledar & McKaveney, 2019). Besides, it will help me grow as a nurse educator. My experience in the practicum will allow me to achieve these aims by being a care provider and at the forefront of providing preventive care services to the public. Dedication is a virtue that propels me to achieve these aims with passion, allowing me to enjoy the work (Vickers et al., 2014). The practicum experience has motivated me to improve my career with an interest in providing care, helping me gain knowledge and develop practical skills in providing healthcare services. The practicum also offers me the opportunity to engage in continuous education and remain ahead of technological methodologies as well as developments in various fields. The opportunity will help me grow with the experience gained from the multiple fields, helping me improve my practical skills.

My practicum objective is that by the end of three months of the practicum, I will be open for consultation to improve the productive transfer of skills and knowledge in the health environment while collaborating to develop useful resolutions toward a mutual outcome. There is also a need to participate in evidence-driven research as well as practice in assessing clinical results. Ascertaining if the necessary resources are available at the practicum site, there is a need to explore the capability while evaluating the new patient and developing an appropriate analysis as well as treatment plans (Bashford, 2012). The objectives are capable of facilitating my learning during the practicum as they help drive changes while ensuring the best practices as well as evidence-based care for achieving the best outcomes for the patient.
