Based on the SWOT analysis, Path Bikes enjoys significant strengths. Their internal strengths include the ability to partner with multiple brands. This enables them to serve more clients. The wide inventory of parts and a great variety of repair services also provide an edge. Their staff members are conversant with technology and offroad products that lead to efficient service delivery. Furthermore, the customization of wheel builds promotes their service delivery significantly (The Path Bike Shop, 2022). The main weakness is the price of bicycles, which may be a deterrent.
Customers
The clients that the company should target include those who are health conscious and would like to maintain physical fitness using bicycles. Clients who are conscious about the conservation of the environment are also an ideal market. Clients who seek to evade traffic jams or are conscious of the rising fuel cost provide an ideal market for Path Bikes. Sports enthusiasts also provide an ideal market since they need durable bicycles for their profession or hobby (University of Montana, 2022).
Threats
The company faces threats such as competition from other players in multiple sectors. For instance, automobiles and motorbikes offer more convenient and faster modes of travel. Vehicles particularly offer modes of transport shielded from weather elements such as heavy snowing, storms, and excess heat. In addition, it is possible to carry luggage and other passengers when using vehicles. Thus, Path Bikes’ clients cannot rely on bicycles as their only mode of movement.
