Great presentation! Melanoma, a skin cancer variety, occurs once melanocytes grow uncontrollably. Melanocytes make melanin, providing the skin with its natural color. Melanin is important because it protects the human body from ultraviolet rays. Such radiation is responsible for sunburns. I am surprised that skin cancers are ranked 2^nd among the causes of death. Melanoma treatment or diagnosis can be assessed or managed by a dermatologist, radiation oncologist, surgical oncologist, or medical oncologist (NHI National Cancer Institute, 2021). As you have stated, there are varying treatments for melanoma based on the stage and type. Therefore, different people receive varied treatments. The presentation states that prevention is achieved by using SPF products and avoiding excessive sun exposure. Some protective gear includes sunglasses, a shirt, and a hat. Avoiding sunlamps and tanning beds is also a protective measure (Cancer Research UK, 2020).

The PowerPoint provides detailed information on melanoma. The addition of visual information captures the audience’s interest and eliminates monotony. However, the bullets have too many words for each sentence. This eliminates the note form that a PowerPoint slide should possess. It also makes it difficult to follow through the slides as part of the audience because one must strain to read the points instead of listening to the presenter. To rectify this observation, one should reduce the number of words for bullet points in the slide. They should introduce the slide’s content, while the speaker notes provide detailed information to explain the main bullets further. In addition, some of the slides lack speaker notes, which makes it difficult for readers to comprehend the content.
