Male and Female Reproductive System

Male and Female Reproductive System

Similarities and Differences between Male and Female Reproductive Systems

The functional and most critical contrast in the male and female reproductive systems is that the male reproductive system produces sperm and conveys it to the female reproductive system. Then again, the female reproductive system is designed to carry a child after fertilization and promote its growth. The subsequent contrast is that a significant part of the male conceptive organ is situated outside the body and around the pelvic locale. In actuality, the female reproductive system is located inside the body, with passage and exit at the vulva. And thirdly, the hormones produced by the male conceptive organs are androgen and testosterone; then again, the female reproductive system produces progesterone and estrogen. They are similar in that a  large portion of the conceptive organs of both genders develop from comparative embryonic tissue, which means they are homologous. The two systems have gonads that produce (sperm and egg or ovum) and sex organs. Another similarity is that the male has a female reproductive organ. This implies the male reproductive system develops from the Wolffian tube while the female emerges from a Mullerian duct. During early fetal life, both genders (hereditarily) have both of these ducts (along these lines having the capacity to turn out to be either sex paying little mind to their genotype) (Bailey, 2019).
