Teachers should also minimize transitions by reducing their number and duration both throughout the day and within activities to ensure a smoother experience (Vanderbilt University, n.d.). Lastly, teachers should teach and practice expected behaviors during transitions to create a less overwhelming environment. These strategies promote a supportive and nurturing space for infants and young toddlers, fostering their well-being and development.

Describe three strategies that teachers can use to make the physical environment more accessible to children with disabilities.
