Few leaders have experience in this type of management; adopting this leadership style may require difficult cultural change; decisions can take time, which can be detrimental in times of crisis; or personnel may be given more responsibility than they can carry. Authoritarian leadership is required when exact accuracy and rigid standards are needed in a military situation. Servant leadership is better appropriate in a less organized context, such as a research setting where teams innovate.

Ethics

Ethical leadership in a company is important today because its benefits may be felt in various areas, from recruiting and accounting practices to product development and customer data management.
