Instagram and Facebook are the most appropriate platforms to use because they are the most popular social networking sites (Kim & Ko, 2012).  According to Forbes, of all other websites, Instagram and Facebook are the two most popular social media networks globally with over half a billion users making them the ideal platforms for Chick-fil-A to reach potential customers and engage with the existing ones. To promote Chick-fil-A’s new products and specials, Instagram and Facebook would be the best platforms because it is a business that serves a broad array of people; kids, teenagers, and families. Daily posts and small ads would go a long way as far as keeping customers informed is concerned. To promote coupons and discounts, Facebook can be used to attract additional customers (Kim & Ko, 2012). When it comes to engaging customers, then Instagram can be used because it is based on pictures so customers can be well engaged and get them to share all their experiences with Chick-fil-A. Photos taken while customers are eating Chick-fil-A tend to show the business’ visual nature, and this can attract newer customers. Facebook and Instagram greatly inform, educate, and entertain customers.
