Coaching has always been among the things I would like to learn. My main goal is to become a professional football coach and help young players grow their talent and become professional football players. I am working towards achieving this goal by studying football coaching and looking for coaching opportunities to practice what I learn. For instance, I have learned much about football coaching by working with Pewee football teams for five years. I have also been working as an assistant football coach in a private school. The skills I have gathered through my experience lay a foundation for me to develop a successful career as a football coach by working on my strengths and weaknesses.
One of the things that I will consider in developing a successful career as a football coach is a coaching philosophy. My philosophy is to be honest with the players and put their interests first so they can develop the expertise needed to play football as a profession. The philosophy emphasizes honesty in the training field and prioritizing the players’ interests because I intend to use my coaching expertise and interaction with the players to create a positive impact on their lives. Therefore, I will use honesty to help the players understand their weaknesses on the pitch so that they can have an idea of what they should improve to boost their performance. I will also apply honesty in updating the players and other team stakeholders about how the team’s resources are used. I will also collaborate with the players to understand their needs so that I can create coaching methods that accommodate those needs. For instance, I will customize coaching sessions based on a player’s expertise level, availability, strengths, and weaknesses.
