Evolutionary Theories
There are different theories of evolution. They include Darwinism and Creationism, amongst others. Darwinism is a biological evolution theory that explains the diversity of the earth based on various principles including, evolution, adaptation, mutation, and natural selection. On the other hand, Creationism explains the origin of life based on the creation theory, whereby a supreme being creates everything from free will. In contrast, according to quantum worldwide view theories of evolution, evolution begins with consciousness. This is because consciousness is the ground of all beings; all things exist as possibilities of consciousness (Goswami, 2017). Subsequently, various principles govern the quantum worldwide view theories of evolution.
Ten principles govern the quantum worldwide view theories of evolution (Goswami, 2017). First, there are two domains of reality: consciousness and experiences. Consciousness is the ground of all beings, and experiences initially exist as potentials before being actualized. Secondly, holistic irreducibility refers to a whole system contained in the representation of possibilities in mind. Thirdly, the primacy of subjectivity, whereby people manifest subjectivity and objectivity traits, while from subjectivity, objectivity stems. Next, there is a multiplicity of human experiences, whereby there are five types. Next are creativity and spirituality, whereby memories are made from experiences. The other principles include the hierarchy of needs, reincarnation, the evolution of consciousness, social relationships, and the importance of multiple forms of intelligence (Goswami, 2017).
Based on these principles and those of traditional evolutionary theories, the difference is made apparent. These differences make certain aspects refutable and plausible. In Darwinism, questions are raised on evolution and mutation, while in Creationism, basing everything on a supreme being is questionable without providing clear answers. On the other hand, the quantum worldwide view theories of evolution answer every question left unanswered by the other traditional evolutionary theories.
