Purpose and Respondents

The purpose of the executive summary is to provide an overview of the burnout level in the workplace based on the findings of the survey conducted in the organization. The survey respondents included female and male employees. The genders were then subdivided based on ages ranging between 30 and 50 years. The respondents also had the organization’s director, executive, individual contributor, and” manager.

Results

The first graph includes data on the current”burnout level at work for both male and female employees. The informal” ion is based on employee responses on how they feel at work. The graph shows that most female employees feel a bit worn out in the workplace almost every day and pretty wiped out nearly every day. E data also indicates that most” males feel a bit worn out nearly every day. The second graph provides data on stress levels at home for both male and female employees aged between 30 and 50 years. The data indicate that females aged between 30 and 39 years are a little stressed at home. The data also shows that females aged between 40 and 49 years have the most reduced stress levels at home. Most females aged 50 years and above have the highest stress level at home. The third graph provides data on job satisfaction for female and male employees with leadership positions. The data indicates that managers are the most satisfied with their work, while individual contributors are less happy. The fourth graph gives an overview of burnout levels based on the years the employee has worked in the company. The data indicates that employees who have worked for the company for five years have the highest burnout level.

Recommendations

Employee burnout has a significant impact on organizational performance because tired employees cannot perform well and may be less motivated to meet organizational goals because they feel that the organization is not concerned about their welfare (Mone & London, 2018). I would recommend adjusting work schedules for employees and encouraging employees to work in groups. Based on the results of the survey, most employees feel pretty wiped out almost every day, thus suggesting that they work for long hours nearly every day and have less time to rest. The company should also create flexible schedules to give employees enough time to rest (McLeod, 2008). The high level of employee burnout in the workplace could also be due to targets set by the company prompting them to spend most of their time working. The workload can, therefore, be reduced by encouraging employees to work in teams. The company may also promote teamwork among employees by introducing team-building activities. Team building activities not only enhance collaboration among team members but also give employees a break from work.
