Education and medical care are intricately interwoven. It’s commonly recognized that better education may lead to better health and a longer, healthier life. Education may increase a person’s ability to notice health difficulties and make efforts to improve their health, as well as their access to health information and ability to make healthy choices (Raghupathi & Raghupathi, 2020). Notably, higher-educated people are more likely to have health insurance and the money to pay for medical treatment; therefore, they may have access to better health care.

However, this judgment must take money into account. Even while education may improve health, those with more money are usually better able to take advantage of it. If incomes rise, those with more money might afford better education and, hence, better health. Besides, healthier people usually have better food, housing conditions, and medical care. Wealthier people also have more discretionary money.

It is also important to consider poverty’s impact on this discussion. People living in poverty may have trouble getting medical and educational care. Poverty limits access to education, health care, and other services, which increases the likelihood of health issues among poor people. Poverty may also increase stress in all capacities, including mental and physical, which are unsuitable for a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, according to Khullar & Chokshi (2018), low income due to factors such as poverty contributes to poor health status.

In conclusion, education may enhance health, but poverty and money are crucial factors. If someone makes more money, they have a higher chance of getting better resources, education, and healthcare, ultimately enhancing their health. People living in poverty may also need help getting medical care and education, which may harm their health. Thus, it is crucial to include all these factors while studying the link between education and health.
