Therefore, this discussion discusses what the chapter covers.

The chapter covers the importance of early intervention measures for successful early childhood education. As such, families should be at the forefront of identifying the needs of their children. According to Heward (505), developmental screening tests should be done for children with special needs to differentiate them from the rest. The chapter advocates proper training amongst educational experts to ensure they have essential skills to impart knowledge to learners with special needs.
