Domestic and International Terrorism
The United States of America responds differently to acts of domestic terrorism than when such attacks are foreign. According to Blum (n.d.), the United States government is more involved in international than domestic incidents. Domestic terrorism is treated less intensely and often does not receive international attention. The responses might be enhanced to create a stronger resistance against acts of terrorism. Unfortunately, such a course of action will likely encourage more terrorist attacks.

In the article, Blum, as a president, would cease acts of terrorism. The proposed solution is somehow feasible. He would restructure the country’s governance and end America’s global interventions. The author also notes that he would reduce the military budget by at least 90%. The author claims that he would be in office for three days and be assassinated on the fourth day. The claim captures a glimpse of the consequences of the proposed solution. Although the plan would serve America’s interest, other nations would react grievously. Some countries would seek vengeance for being rejected. Others would rush to replace the US, and the reactions would create chaos overall. Some nations might treat the change as a weakness and use it to hurt the country.
