In the video, Joshua demonstrates challenging behaviors such as aggressive outbursts, defiance toward authority, and difficulty interacting positively with peers. The second strategy includes using a visual schedule for Joshua and other similar children.

The schedule will predict the likelihood of such behaviors from occurring and reduce the anxiety that is caused by classroom activities that he engages in. An intervention technique would include having a “cool-down” corner in the classroom with calming tools like stress balls or sensory materials that can help Joshua self-regulate when he feels overwhelmed. This space would offer him an alternative to lashing out, supporting emotional development and self-regulation skills.
