Hello. My name is (bb). This video presentation will discuss my vision for building a culture of innovation. Innovation plays a vital role in improving the quality of healthcare services offered to patients by providing solutions to problems faced by healthcare providers when offering healthcare services and introducing new treatment methods to improve patient outcomes.

Let me begin by discussing the leadership framework I will use to build a culture of effectiveness in our organization

Building a culture of effectiveness requires ensuring that everyone in the organization has a shared goal. Therefore, I will use my leadership to maintain collaboration among everyone in the organization and encourage everyone to focus on meeting the organization’s goals. My preferred leadership framework is participative leadership. According to Wang et al. (2022), participative leadership involves encouraging and supporting employees to participate in the decision-making process to make effective organizational decisions and address the problems in the organization together. Therefore, a participative leadership framework is ideal for supporting innovation because it ensures that employees’ ideas are embraced and considered in decision-making.

I will now provide a brief overview of evidence-based strategies that support innovation

Researchers have reviewed various strategies that support innovation to assist leaders in determining the right strategies for their organizations. One of the research studies by Karlsson & Tavassoli (2015) indicates that one of the strategies that organizations can use to support innovation is combining organizational, marketing, process, and product innovation. The authors argue that combining several types of innovation supports innovation by encouraging the generation and implementation of innovative ideas to address the issues in each type of innovation. Another study by Seechaliao (2017) indicates that instructional strategies are effective in supporting innovation. According to Seechaliao (2017), instructional strategies include project-based learning, problem-based learning, research-based learning, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving. These instructional strategies can support innovation by promoting the generation of innovative ideas to solve problems.

Now that I have explained the strategies that can be used to support innovation, this section will focus on the development of high-performance teams and the importance of supporting high-performance teams

Supporting the development of high-performance teams is important because it increases the organization’s productivity and overall performance. Therefore, it is important to support the development of high-performance teams. According to Kiradoo (2022), some of the strategies that can be used to promote collaboration, equity, and inclusion include setting diversity, equity and inclusion goals, promoting inclusive leadership, providing diversity training, leveraging technology to support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and implementing flexible work arrangements. Organizations can also promote collaboration, equity, and inclusion by setting diversity and collaboration goals. This strategy has been effective in promoting collaboration, equity, and inclusion at Accenture Company through its bold leadership strategy. The strategy includes setting goals that promote diversity and inclusion and holding leaders accountable to achieve the goals and improve work culture (Vargas-Solar et al., 2022). Leaders can also promote collaboration by involving employees in decision-making.

The main goal of supporting the development of high-performance teams is to improve patient outcomes. According to Rosen et al. (2018), high-performance teams prevent patient harm because they communicate effectively, work together to solve problems, and share information. High-performance teams also influence patient outcomes by improving the quality of care provided to patients through sharing information on the effectiveness of various treatment options and working together to resolve problems that arise during treatment. High-performing teams also focus on meeting the organization’s goals, which results in improved patient outcomes, especially if the goals focus on improving the quality of care offered to patients and creating a conducive environment for patients.

In conclusion, creating a culture of effectiveness is essential in promoting patient safety and ensuring that patients get the best quality of care. Healthcare organizations can create a culture of effectiveness with high-performing teams by encouraging the teams to implement their innovative ideas. Healthcare organizations can also use high-performing teams to create a culture of effectiveness by encouraging the teams to collaborate in offering healthcare services and sharing information on what the organization should do to meet the needs of patients. However, it is important to ensure that the conflicts that arise within the team are resolved effectively within the shortest time to maintain collaboration among the team members.
