10. Communicating with family members on how to recognize unhealthy drug use in the family members such as:

• • Challenges at school and work.
  • Self-neglect in terms of appearance.
  • Gradual changes in behavior.
  • Issues on finances.
  • Deteriorating health (Merrow, 2017).

11. Coming up with proper interventions such as

• • Therapies
  • Involvement in support groups
  • Encouraging the individual to embrace change.
  • Engaging in positive activities (Kazemi et al., 2017).

12. Creating goals together with the patient.
