In the Chamberlain College RN-BSN to MSN Program Option, eligible registered nurse students earning their degree in BSN may seek MSN degree program admission before conferring their degree in BSN. Students can earn their degree in BSN while admitted in also the MSN degree program, by enrolling in the MSN courses selected rather than the 2 needed BSN courses.

Students admitted in the Chamberlain College RN-BSN to MSN Program option will confer their degree in BSN upon the MSN core classes’ successful completion. Graduate while working and in less than eight semesters with full-time enrollment annually. After the completion of the needed MSN coursework, you’ll then complete your degree in MSN – this leaves you with 2 degrees.

        2. Accelerated RN-MSN with Clinical Nurse Leadership Option / RN-MSN

MSN Admission Criteria

  • Core courses must’ve been finished within the preceding 7 years for effective transfer; whereas specialty courses with the preceding five years
  • You require a ‘B’ grade or higher for a credit transfer
  • In the case of Nurse Practitioner specialty tracks, only core courses credit transfer will be accepted
