Principles of Effective Interpersonal Communication

One of the principles of effective communication is active listening. Inter-personal communication needs each party to listen attentively and know when to respond. Active listening is not just about keeping silent and listening but also giving feedback, offering an opinion, and asking questions (Landry, 2019).
