My name is Ciera Harrell, and I have been fortunate enough to have two amazing parents who have sacrificed their all to give me the best in life, particularly good education. Typically, the United Kingdom was my birthplace, and it was not until 1997 that my parents chose to move to the United States. It was more of a teaching career pursuit opportunity and at least more money for the family. Of course, I was a little disappointed because I had to leave my friends there, but the United States seemed better for us; it was like a new beginning and a chance to start over. Seeing how good my parents were as teachers created a desire for me to be a teacher. Currently, I attend Georgia Piedmont Technical College, where I study early childhood education. I have been fortunate enough to study in private schools from kindergarten to high school; thus, I have generally received a good education. Moving to the United States has been a lifetime opportunity as it has helped me develop and grow personally as well as professionally.

Notably, 2019 was one of the most outstanding years of my life since I got to graduate high school. What followed was nothing but good memories. I found this amazing job to work with children, which only intensified my desire to mentor kids. I have always believed that having to work with kids is an opportunity to build a better society because one gets to inspire young children and mold them at an early age. I cannot forget that just about the same time,  I got to meet my soulmate, who is also a teacher, and things have never been better. I am looking to start a great family, finish my early childhood diploma and excel in the teaching profession. Everything around me leads me to teaching, and I can’t ignore this call. My passion for inspiring and making people believe in themselves will make me an outstanding instructor.
