Reflection Response
Compiling this data has helped me realize the impressive assets of the children in my class. For instance, many students such as Maria Gonzalez and Juan Rodriguez reveal good language skills in both the Spanish and English languages and they can effectively act as interpreters. It not only helps them to improve their communicative competence but also to create an inclusive classroom environment. Also, the interests of students are vastly different: Ana Castillo is keen on leadership, while Carlos Fernandez enjoys Technology. Fatima Abubakar, a Fulani student, contributes to the language during our classroom discussions and brings in cultural diversity. In general, it also reveals how the students are able to demonstrate their linguistic skills while at the same time showing how they can learn from one another and create an effective learning atmosphere.
