The second study, titled The Effect of Sensory Integration Therapy on Occupational Performance in Children with Autism, was an experiment that determined the impacts of sensory integration therapy (SIT). The study was interested in the impacts of this therapy on minimizing the effects of sensory integration failures among children with autism (Kashefimehr, Kayihan & Huri, 2018). The study was done on an intervention group. This research showed that sensory integration therapy (SIT). The investigation not only showed the connection that sensory integration has with autism but also showed that there are interventions that can be used to help with this condition (Kashefimehr, Kayihan & Huri, 2018).
Main Points
The two points gathered from this article are that sensory integration directly impacts the capabilities of the child with autism. As such, an impact on this part of the brain causes some difficulties in children with autism. The second point is that sensory integration is key to human reactions.
Thoughts and Perspectives Regarding the Covered Concepts
My opinion on the concepts discussed in this is directed toward the research in general (Guardado & Sergent, 2022). This research can be generalized because the researchers relied on an experimental study.
