Each group member’s tasks were delegated based on the member’s skills and capabilities. As indicated in the table above, Group Member 1 has data analysis and report writing skills and capabilities. Data analysis is an important part of research because it helps to interpret data based on its relevance in addressing the research topic (Mihas, 2019). Report writing capabilities include selecting a proper format to present research findings, proofreading, and ensuring a proper flow of information. Therefore, discussing a product or solution scenario requires someone with data analysis and report writing skills. Group Member 2 was assigned the task of describing the problem or opportunity that the innovation idea will address because the task requires critical thinking, report writing, data analysis, and good communication skills.

Group Member 3 was assigned the task of presenting a detailed overview of the technology integration components requires analyzing a wide range of data about the technology and how it is integrated into organizational operations. Therefore, the tasks require an individual with internet research capability, report writing, and data synthesis capability. According to Van den Berg et al. (2013), data synthesis is the systematic analysis of data to determine similarities and differences. The group leader (Group Member 4) was assigned the task of describing the kind of business or organization for which the project is intended because the task is not complex, thus creating enough time to focus on ensuring that the other group members completed their assigned tasks effectively. The member was assigned the leadership role because of their decision-making, conflict management, communication, planning, and scheduling skills.
