Belief: Women’s capabilities are as unlimited as they are for men only; only when popular belief comes in do women doubt their capabilities.

In the long run, contemporary society has promoted social equality by empowering women through education and more representation in leadership and job markets. With this in place, women’s innate potential as humans has been unleashed, resulting in a dynamic society where roles within the society have drastically changed. A woman is a human, and a man is a human; thus, all human beings possess equal potentials that can be harnessed for both men and women to realize the optimal capabilities. According to (Schötz, 2019), earlier efforts to emancipate women were intended to position women as humans in society rather than just women as a gender. As such, these efforts aimed to raise and reform women’s position in society as a form of social justice to view women as women. Nevertheless, while these efforts are substantially helpful, it is important to comprehend that they are aimed at unleashing women’s potential rather than equating women to men in society. In the long run, this conflicting ideology has resulted in the development of social policies and dynamics to resist women’s empowerment in society.
