This proposal describes the relevance of this undertaking, its connection with diversity and inclusion, the approach to advisors, best practices for instructors, measures to employ, an engagement strategy, the plan of communications, and leadership in change management: Week 8 Signature Assignment.

Recommended Change Initiative: Enhancing Social-Emotional Learning

The intended plan is to incorporate well-developed social-emotional learning throughout the grades in our elementary school. SEL is important, as it helps students to develop self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationships, and responsible decision-making skills. Stemming from the evidence of students’ improved manners, there is evidence that supports the assertion that SEL programs improve performance and develop good conduct to make learning possible (Durlak et al., 2011).
