• A further 20% of the grant will go toward technological advancement. The police will use the portion of the budget to purchase technological devices such as body cameras to bolster accountability within the police department. Also, part of the technology budget will finance subscriptions to software to analyze data and identify crime-infested areas. The move will bolster police efficiency since they will allocate resources to where they are needed most (Jannetta & Lachman, 2011).
