The diapers are then turned to compost after a few months.
Future Outlook of Diapers
The demand for biodegradable diapers is increasing due to increased awareness regarding the negative impacts of disposable diapers on the environment. The increased demand for biodegradable is also due to the growing incidences of skin allergies and rashes among babies, thus encouraging parents to use biodegradable and chemical-free diapers (Cision, 2021).
