Also, the fallacy of the slippery slope comes to mind when looking at this article because the author implies that if we keep assuming that the frolicsome dolphins are entirely harmless, then we are most likely to experience the negative ramifications of ignorance. Besides, when looking at the experts mentioned in the article, such as Dr. Dale J. Dunn, who is a veterinary pathologist, comes out a legitimate source. With this knowledge in mind, it suffices to maintain that the credibility of this article is well-justified because the expert opinion is also potent.
