How would I facilitate cross-team collaboration between Lenovo’s marketing management function and R&D teams?
One of the approaches I would use to enable cross-team collaboration between the marketing management function and the research and development teams at Lenovo is creating a communication strategy that allows information sharing across teams. The second approach is specifying the roles and responsibilities of each team member to prevent conflict that could arise from misunderstandings among the team members from different departments. How would I communicate new features to customers?
Customers perceive a product’s new features based on their understanding of the features and their impact on their experience when using a product. Therefore, I would communicate the new features by creating a short educational video describing how they improve the product and post it on social media platforms to reach as many customers as possible. I would also email the video to customers to get those who may not be active on social media platforms.
How would I measure the success of the team?
One o?f the things I would consider in measuring the team’s success is whether they have met the project’s goals and objectives. I would focus on what the team has already accomplished and what is yet to be completed to determine whether their performance meets the organization’s expectations. The second thing I would do is assess the team member’s commitment level based on their engagement in the project. According to Pitaloka & Putri (2021), engagement can be evaluated based on the generation of new ideas and participation in decision-making. The team’s success can be enhanced by implementing the team members’ proposed creative ideas.
