Analyzing e-Business Scenarios

A balance is always required between separating and integrating concerns by e-business analysts. While designing or analyzing e-business scenarios, it is essential to understand what is meant by separation and integration of concerns and how tensions develop between the two. Notably, separation in e-business scenarios refers to the separation of various concerns raised based on different features held by each concern for better management (Isaías et al., 2019). Further, business analysts must separate various concerns for a proper and clear understanding of e-business domains, which are typically complex. When concerns are separated, it is also easy to understand aspects and functions in an e-business scenario. Also, the separation of concerns ensures that areas of design are evaluated for further redesigns or eliminated if necessary. Thus, it can be concluded that separating concerns helps make work more accessible, saves time, and enhances the efficiency of e-business designs. However, tension always occurs because while separating concerns, others require integration.

Integration of concerns refers to combining similar concerns and addressing them as one component while analyzing or designing e-business scenarios. However, it is challenging to identify problems that require to be separated and those that need integration. As a result, some issues that need separation may get integrated, and tension will be the outcome. Tension, in this case, refers to separating or integrating some misgivings. Tension is an inevitable component of e-business scenarios.

Consequently, e-business analysts must develop precise mechanisms to handle the tension (Yan et al., 2019). The stress can be reduced significantly by analyzing the e-business scenario concerns and paying attention to each separately. It is worth noting that more separation into the concerns should be adopted compared to integration to reduce the tension.
