My view over SBC’s social media marketing strategy is that it seems the company does not have a developed social media marketing. This is why the three specialists seem not to be sure about the level of social media marketing in this company (AF, 2022). Therefore, social media marketing needs to be established in this company to help promote and sell the bicycles. The company should embrace social media because many potential customers who can buy these bicycles are youth who like riding and sporting with the bicycles (Crunchbase, 2022). The company should use social media to reach these youth because nearly all the youth have active social media accounts.
Some of the frustrations I encountered in the team project were: First, the team members were not used to working together as a team. Therefore, they rarely get in agreement and make decisions together, yet the project requires them to work collaboratively. Another frustration I faced was that team members work in different areas. Marcy works in the east, Gus works in the southeast, and Andrew works in the northwest. Therefore, these members are not used to working together.
When resolving similar challenges as a marketing manager, I would first talk to these members about the importance of teamwork and collaboration. I will emphasize that working as a team would enable the organization to achieve more than working separately. Secondly, I will call regular meetings so members can get used to one another to enhance teamwork. I will also encourage members to be open when giving their opinions and be ready to accommodate other people’s opinions.
