The Yorkshire Clinic is an acute clinic located in Tacoma, Washington. The clinic is comprised of a group of 10 physicians, 2 physician assistants, 1 nurse practitioner, and several ancillary staff. Yorkshire Clinic serves a patient population of approximately 14,000. Because of an outdated EHR, Yorkshire has decided to implement a new EHR system to begin the process. They have chosen to conduct a readiness assessment and discuss the benefits and issues that may arise from implementing the EHR system, as well as complete a project plan which will include the staff needs and the need for data migration as well as the risk that may happen not implementing the data migration.
