Winning the Chess Game

Winning the Chess Game

Winning at any game is mainly a matter of strategy and experience. This has been my experience with the game of chess over the years. A very well-known and common trick for winning the chess game is starting by freeing the bishops and the queen. This is attained by moving the pawn in front of the queen or king by two spaces ahead. The next step is getting ready for an attack by moving the bishops and nights to the center of the board way ahead of the pawns (Crozier, 2002). After this, it is advisable to castle your king and target your opponent’s king should they fail to castle their king. Castling is a tactical move that enables one to move the king to safety. Once this has been achieved, it’s now time to launch an attack (Crozier, 2002). Pick the unprotected pieces of the opponent while being watchful of your exposure once you pick them off. To finish off your opponent, advance a pawn to the farthest row, making it a queen. This will give you the advantage of winning the game by launching a pre-emptive attack on your weakened opponent.

While playing, it is very important to be vigilant of the moves made by the opponent. It’s impertinent for a chess player to determine the strategy of their opponent by observing every move made. It is also necessary for one to be watchful of the traps laid by the opponent and come up with tactical maneuvers to avoid them (Crozier, 2002). Another effective technique is always assessing the status of the pieces you leave unprotected when making any move.

Winning the Chess Game

Write a paragraph that explains how to win any game, (board game, card game, or a sport game). It should be a game you are familiar with. The paragraph should be an informative process analysis. Therefore, you are telling your audience how to win the game, not how to play the game.

For example, tell your peers how to win monopoly by choosing a method, such as being the banker or cheating. Then, explain how this method enables you to win.
