Managers can also use software that monitors employee performance to ensure the set goals of executing assigned roles are achieved within the set time (Openstax, 2019). Lastly, managers can use technology to control internal operations, such as manufacturing, so as to avoid the production of excess inventory that will be sold at a loss or discarded. Overall, managers have the option of using technology to control internal organizational performance so as to achieve designed objectives.
